Muddled Cocktails: Classic Old Fashioned aka Rock and Rye

Classic Old Fashioned

2.5oz Rittenhouse BiB Rye
2x natural brown sugar cubes
Angostura
Splash of water
Chunky ice cube
Orange and Angostura rock candy

Muddle sugar, 3 shakes of bitters, and water until incorporated.
Add Whiskey and Stir
Add ice
Garnished with an Orange and Angostura Rock candy as a throw back to the Rock and Rye "cocktail" of old. The granddaddy of the Old Fashioned.
